Oddbird Sparkling Rosé
85/100
How we scoreVerdict
Editorial VerdictEasy, berry-led sparkling rosé — semi-dry and clean rather than bone-dry. Fruit is the point; depth is modest. A good warm-weather pour when you want pink bubbles without a candy finish.

Tasting notes
-
Nose
Raspberry, rose petal, and cherry — floral berry, not perfume overload.
-
Palate
Ripe red berries with citrus and tart cherry. Semi-dry; fruit leads, acidity keeps it from sticky.
-
Finish
Semi-dry, clean, and berry-led — fruit hangs briefly, then clears.
The wine
Berry first. Raspberry, rose petal, and cherry on the nose — floral pink without tipping into soap. The bubbles carry ripe red berries, citrus, and tart cherry on a semi-dry line. Fruit leads; acidity stops it from reading as candy.
It is not a taut, mineral sparkling rosé. The bead is soft, the body light, the finish clean and berry-led rather than long or savory. Semi-dry is honest: sweetness is present enough to make it easy, not enough to sticky the glass. That is the trade — approachable over austere.
Serve it well chilled in a flute or a white-wine glass. Warm, the berry turns softer and the rose note fattens; cold keeps the tart cherry bright. Likeness is good for sparkling rosé: you get the pink fruit and the bead. Structure of a serious Provence pink is modest. For brunch or a patio pour, the berry-led clean close is enough.
How to drink it
