The wine
The record
The US trade name is Red Blend. The Australian bottle and shop page are Shiraz. Serendipity’s sheet splits the difference: Varietal Red Blend, cepage 100% Syrah, Riverina. That is one wine, not two, and the naming stays on the discrepancy list rather than being resolved in copy.
Alcohol removal is the house line — triple distillation, slow, low temperature — on the producer page, the importer sheet, and the Southern Starz brand page. No machine is named. The residual is 0.0% where Serendipity prints Alcohol by Volume; Nugan Estate leaves the percentage field empty.
Riverina is on the US importer sheet and on the Southern Starz brand page. The Australian shop page says only Australia. The public region follows the importer, with the producer silence noted.
Calories and sugar come from the Southern Starz panel (20 kcal and 2.8 g sugars per 125 ml) and from producer copy that states 2.4 g per 100 ml. Those numbers do not convert cleanly, so both stay on file.
What remains open. No firsthand tasting. No named equipment. A bottle in the glass is the next step; the public score waits.
The bottle
Evidence Producer documented
Triple distillation, a deliberately slow process to remove the alcohol at low temperature (US importer). Producer calls it cutting-edge triple distillation. No equipment named.
Research notes
US trade pages title it Red Blend. The Southern Starz brand page places the house in Riverina and repeats the triple-distillation, alcohol-removed line.

Where sources disagree
Sources disagree on the following points.
- Product: One SKU under two trade names. This record uses the US trade name Red Blend and keeps Shiraz / Syrah as the grape.
- ABV: Public record uses the importer 0.0%. No producer residual printed.
- Sugar: The two figures do not convert cleanly. Both retained until a single producer nutrition block is confirmed.
