The wine
Record
Château del ISH Sparkling Rosé is the sparkling rosé of ISH’s Château del ISH wine line, made from Pinot Noir and Merlot grapes grown in the Rheingau in southern Germany. The producer describes a conventional process: whole grapes harvested and pressed directly, fermented in steel vats, then dealcoholized by a proprietary vacuum distillation that evaporates alcohol at roughly 38°C instead of the usual 78°C, a low-temperature removal the brand credits with protecting the wine’s own aromas and structure. Carbonation is reintroduced as carbon dioxide, and the finished ingredients are dealcoholized wine, rectified concentrated grape must, carbon dioxide and sulphites. The declared strength is under 0.5% ABV, with 20 kcal and 3.9 g sugars per 100 ml on the producer’s nutrition panel, and the style is described as dry-leaning for a sparkling wine. Retail availability in the US runs through The Zero Proof, where the 750 ml bottle was purchased at $17.59 with a member discount in November 2026 for a planned tasting. It has not been tasted, and it has no score; the tasting record will follow when the bottle is poured.
