The beer

The flaw is the body. Deep Fake gives you citrus and pine hops — the IPA aromatic signature, present if a bit lighter than a full-strength version — then a light-bodied sip where malt is minimal, bitterness present, and the overall effect reads more hop-forward tea than IPA. The hops do their work; the middle simply never fills out.

Dry and hoppy through a brief bitter linger. Modest bitterness, light body. Cold from the can. Drink it for the citrus-pine lift and the honest silhouette, not for weight. The name already admits the joke; the glass confirms it with hop aroma first and a thin center second. Bitterness lingers briefly, then air. Citrus and pine are clear enough to call it an IPA shape; the missing malt cushion is what turns the sip toward tea. Pour cold, finish cold — let the hops stay brighter than the thin middle. Hop-forward and dry, briefly bitter, then gone: the silhouette is real, the body is the compromise. Citrus and pine first, tea-thin middle second, short bitter linger last. Open on the flaw and the rest of the glass makes sense. Light body is the limit; citrus and pine are the reward.
