The Wine People describes Nero Oro 0% Primitivo as 100% Primitivo from Leverano, in the Salento. Grapes are hand-picked in September, destemmed, and fermented at 22–24°C. Alcohol is then removed by what the producer calls vacuum evaporation, at 20°C. The page heads the wine “0% Alcohol” and says to serve it at 12–14°C. Producer tasting copy mentions red berries and a smooth, persistent finish. That copy is not a cellar note.
