The wine
Fulkerson’s non-alcoholic Cabernet starts as the winery’s own Cabernet Sauvignon. The alcohol comes out afterward. Steven Fulkerson says the finished wine is less than 0.5% ABV, and that the removal was reverse osmosis, done in Virginia at Wine and Beer.
The shop still presents vintage 2021 and 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Those lines match the alcoholic Cabernet, and so does the analytical strip of acidity, pH, and alcohol. That strip gives no residual sugar. The alcohol figure on it is not the figure he gave for the finished bottle. Acidity and pH stay off this record until a label of the finished wine says what they are.
The shop’s own paragraph talks of spice, jammy fruit, tobacco leaf, white pepper, oak, and Bing cherry. That is the listing’s copy. The photograph is marked for reference only. It is the estate Cabernet from Seneca Lake, and the label on that bottle reads 12% alcohol. It is not a picture of this wine. The Dry Standard has not poured the bottle, so it has no score.

Research notes
The description opens with NON ALCOHOLIC and says the photograph is for reference only. It then describes spice, jammy fruit, and tobacco leaf, and a finish of spicy white pepper, mild oak, and Bing cherry. Those lines are the shop's copy, not a Dry Standard tasting. The wine profile still prints vintage 2021, Dry Red, 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, titratable acidity 5.0 g/L, pH 3.66, and alcohol 11.2%. It prints no residual sugar. The alcoholic Cabernet Sauvignon page prints that same profile, and its description adds the word sweet before Bing cherry. The shop photograph is the white-ground file shared with the alcoholic listing. The bottle reads Cabernet Sauvignon, Seneca Lake, Estate Grown, and 12% alc. by vol. The still on this page is that labeled bottle. Acidity and pH are not stored as facts of the finished wine.

- Country
- The product page title reads Finger Lakes Wine. The shop sells in US dollars. No street address is stored.
