The wine
The sparkling
This is the US Selection Dr. Fischer bottle. The front label reads Alcohol Free Sparkling and does not say Riesling. Steinbock Riesling Sparkling Zero, the goat-mark bottle that names Riesling, is a different record. Steinbock Riesling Zero, the still wine, is a third.
The importer’s sheet is Selection Dr. Fischer Steinbock Alcohol-Removed Sparkling: Riesling from selected Mosel vineyards, alcohol drawn off under vacuum at 25–30 °C, what remains under 0.25% vol. The sheet calls it dry. A Providence listing repeats that vacuum paragraph and titles the bottle Brut. The sheet never uses that word.
The sheet’s own note is straw yellow, a delicate perlage, white-fleshed fruit, blossom, and citrus. That line is producer copy. This page has no glass and no score.
