90+ Cellars Lot 229 Sparkling Rosé is dealcoholized from France. The base is Grenache sparkling rosé from a fourth-generation family winery in the South of France. Traditionally made, then alcohol removed by reverse osmosis.
On the nose, strawberry, cranberry, and raspberry — the producer’s own list, and the glass agrees. On the palate, Dry, fine bead, red fruit without soda sweetness. Body is thinner than a full-strength crémant, which is the osmosis tax. The finish is Clean berry and a little pith.
