In the glass

  1. Appearance

    Hazy gold.

  2. Nose

Fruit and hop aromas are muted, with little definition.

  3. Palate

The fruit expression stays limited, offering little of the range expected from a hazy IPA. The flavor lacks depth and feels incomplete, without enough character to hold interest.

  4. Finish

Flavor fades with little persistence, leaving an underwhelming close.

How beer-like is it?

The hazy IPA appearance is there, but fruit and hop expression fall short of a complete example of the style.

Structure

  • Short finish

The beer

Forever Bloom does little to develop its fruit and hop character. It is drinkable, but the limited flavor range leaves the hazy IPA feeling unfinished. There is too little depth to make the sip interesting, and the fruit never gains the definition that would give it a clearer identity.

The hazy gold appearance suggests the style more clearly than the aroma does. Fruit and hops remain muted on the nose, and that lack of definition carries into the palate. The finish offers little persistence, so the beer closes without strengthening the impression it made earlier.

The disappointment is the overall lack of expression: subdued aromas, limited flavor and an underwhelming close. Together they leave a beer that can be drunk easily enough, but does not deliver a satisfying account of a hazy IPA.
