The flowers stay light. They scent the apple without turning the glass into perfume. Citrus is the line that connects the smell to the end: you meet it early, you taste it through a fresh light body, and you are left with it, crisp, after the apple has gone. Moderate acid means lively, not sharp. Nothing in the middle is heavy, and nothing in the middle is complicated.
