The wine
Leitz’s Eins-Zwei-Zero Chardonnay begins as German Chardonnay from the Pfalz. Schatzi Wines, the U.S. importer, says the wine receives partial barrel aging and partial malolactic conversion before alcohol is removed by gentle vacuum distillation. Leitz describes the range-wide process as particularly gentle and designed to preserve natural aroma and freshness.
Exact bottle. Karl Hill’s photograph identifies the wine as Chardonnay and Alcohol Removed White Wine, made in Germany by Weingut Leitz. The package declares less than 0.05% alcohol by volume, not a generic under-0.5% statement. Its EAN matches the exact Schatzi product page, and the bottle carries a vegan mark.
The U.S. Nutrition Facts panel lists 20 calories per 5 fl oz, with 5 g carbohydrate and 4 g total sugars, all 4 g declared as added sugar. Fat, cholesterol, sodium and protein are listed at zero. The visible ingredient line identifies dealcoholized wine, concentrated grape must and sulfites.
This is an unscored research record. No firsthand pour has been logged, so producer or retailer tasting language is not adopted as Dry Standard sensory judgment. Aroma, palate, acidity, texture and finish remain to be assessed in the glass.
