The wine

Record

Steinbock Riesling Zero is the still wine in this line, not Steinbock Riesling Zero Sparkling and not Dr. Fischer Zero Riesling Sparkling. The producer sheet says the Riesling is gently dealcoholized by distillation under reduced pressure. The Zero range page calls that vacuum distillation at low temperature. The shop calls it a product of Germany and prints 0.75 l. No alcohol percent is printed.

Evidence Producer documented

This is Steinbock Riesling Zero, the still wine. Hofstätter lists it apart from Steinbock Riesling Zero Sparkling and Dr. Fischer Zero Riesling Sparkling. The English technical sheet, from Weingut Dr. Fischer in Kanzem/Saar, says Riesling gently dealcoholized by distillation under reduced pressure. The Zero range page says the line uses vacuum distillation at low temperature, without chemical additives, and names this wine with the two sparkling bottles. The wine page places it in Mosel/Saar and says dealcoholized. The shop says 0.75 l, product of Germany, contains sulphites, and “zero alcohol.” Neither the sheet, the wine page, nor the shop prints an alcohol percent. The front label on the shop bottle reads Steinbock Riesling Zero. Producer tasting copy stays off this record.
