Research notes

The 2026 producer sheet specifies 30% apple juice, 30% grape juice and 40% organic herbal infusion. The reproduced back label states 32 kcal, 8 g carbohydrate and 8 g sugars per 100 ml, with 0 g fat, saturated fat and protein. It also prints 45 kcal and 11 g sugars per 5 fl oz / 148 ml serving, and sodium below 0.005 g in that column; these are retained as printed, not recalculated. Ingredients are marked organic under FR-BIO-01. The sheet states no preservatives, artificial flavors or colorants; the public producer page also claims no added sugar. The producer describes herbs, flowers, lemon and ginger and recommends serving chilled as an aperitif, with fruit desserts or fresh to lightly aged cheeses. These are producer descriptions, not firsthand tasting observations. The sheet dates the domaine’s experiments with juice and infusions to 2010. Buteljholmen, its listed Swedish importer, describes blending grape juice with plant extracts, pasteurization, carbonation and addition of organic apple juice; it does not supply process temperatures.

Where sources disagree

Sources disagree on the following points.

  • Ingredients: The 2026 sheet specifies 30% apple juice, 30% grape juice and 40% herbal infusion. The producer website introductory copy states 70% juice / 30% infusion, while its ingredient panel states 60% juice / 40% infusion. The 2026 fields identify the supplied batch-specific table rather than silently combining these conflicting claims.
  • Ingredients: The 2026 French prose names ginger, lemon, yarrow, poppy, rosemary, thyme, mallow, blackberry, agrimony and verbena. The reproduced English label instead lists thyme, oregano, rosemary, yarrow, mugwort, sweet alyssum (Alyssum odoratum), basil, Roman chamomile and bay laurel in addition to ginger, lemon and mallow. The website pairs the common name verbena with Alyssum odoratum; the label uses sweet alyssum. The ingredient field transcribes the supplied label, without resolving the botanical-name conflict.
  • Nutrition: The reproduced producer label gives separate per-serving (5 fl oz / 148 ml) and per-100-ml values that do not scale exactly. The public calories and sugar fields explicitly use the printed per-100-ml column; serving values are retained as printed in production note. No analytical recalculation or corrected label is inferred.
