Apple and pear stay clearer than any butter echo. The mid-palate is fruit-led; the cream is atmosphere.

Chilled, it drinks as an easy California Chardonnay shape with the richness turned down. Light body, smooth finish, orchard fruit in front of any butter memory. If you came for the brand’s butter punch, you will find pear and apple instead, with cream as a secondary note. That trade — fruit first, butter second — is the glass.
