Before that line arrives, the aromatics stay light and bready, with a green-apple note and the faint citrus Souvignier Gris tends toward. Nothing candy-sweet, nothing heavy; just bread and orchard fruit setting up the dry middle. The bead stays soft, so the fruit reads crisp rather than foamy.

The closing is clean and brief, citrus-forward, the same register that carried the mid-palate. Mouthfeel stays tidy — clean, brief, citrus again. Soft bead, bright acidity, fruit that ends on lemon and apple instead of sugar. You do not get a long echo; you get a clear exit.

Chilled in a flute, it keeps its point of view after the first sip — not because the finish stretches, but because the mid-palate cut is clear.
