The beer
Maintain Mexican Brew is a limited-edition “collabrewation” between two Golden, Colorado neighbors: New Terrain Brewing Company and Sustainable Beverage Technologies (SBT), the developer of the patented BrewVo nonalcoholic brewing system. Created as a small-batch entry for the 2026 Great American Beer Festival and poured at New Terrain’s Golden taproom, the beer pairs independent Colorado craft recipe design with SBT’s alcohol-management technology.
Unlike standard vacuum distillation or arrested fermentation, SBT’s BrewVo process uses nested fermentation and membrane separation to manage and remove alcohol while preserving volatile fermentation character down to less than 0.5% ABV. According to the release notes from NA Beer Club, the recipe builds a Mexican-style lager base from corn and a touch of Vienna malt, then dry-hops the brew with Motueka Abstrax hop extracts so the lager stands on its own without added lime. The 12 fl oz can is brewed and packaged by Sustainable Beverage Technologies in Golden, Colorado.
One single can was purchased from NA Beer Market at $3.99 for cellar evaluation. Until that can is opened and tasted firsthand by The Dry Standard, this record remains an unscored research profile with no sensory assessment.

Research notes
The front of the can reads Non-Alcoholic, Contains Less Than 0.5% Alc. By Vol., BrewVo | New Terrain Brewing Co., Limited Non-Alcoholic Collabrewation, and Maintain Non-Alcoholic Mexican Brew. Vertical side text visible on the can states 12 fl. oz., Nontaxable under Section 5051 I.R.C., Malt Beverage Contains Less Than 0.5% Alcohol by Volume, and brewed and packaged fresh by Sustainable Beverage Technologies in Golden, Colorado (brewvo.com). NA Beer Club and NA Beer Market report that the small-batch collaboration was brewed for the 2026 Great American Beer Festival with corn, a touch of Vienna malt, and Motueka Abstrax dry-hopping, and served at the New Terrain Brewing taproom in Golden, Colorado. BrewVo documents its patented nested fermentation and membrane separation process across its nonalcoholic releases. Retailer flavor descriptions are not a Dry Standard tasting.
