The wine
The 2025 sheet is the bottle this page records. It says the vintage was made with Gewürztraminer, from the Finger Lakes, and aged in stainless steel. Stainless steel is the aging line, not a description of how the alcohol left the wine. The winery calls the finished wine semi-dry and carbonated. It also says the wine is dealcoholized and not completely free of alcohol. It never names a still, a cone, or a membrane, so the method stays undeclared.
That is not the only Ohne on the record. On July 23, 2026, Weis announced Ohne 2024, made from the 2024 Gewürztraminer vintage, as its first dealcoholized wine, and said that bottling was for sale through the online store, the tasting room, and the patio. The 2025 sheet uses first-release language for the cuvée it describes. Those are two vintage names. This page follows the 2025 sheet and leaves the 2024 announcement beside it. The name Ohne, the sheet says, is German for without.
The bottle pictured on the sheet has a gold capsule and a cream label that reads Weis Vineyards and Ohne. The grape, the appellation, and the word dealcoholized are not on that front. They sit in the sheet. Pineapple, mango, lychee, and a floral, jasmine note are the winery’s own copy. They are not a tasting. This profile does not score the wine.

Research notes
Varietal 100% Gewürztraminer. Aging stainless steel. Ohne translates to "without" in German. Producer sensory copy on the sheet: pineapple, mango, and lychee, with floral and jasmine notes. It does not print the grape or the word dealcoholized. A July 23, 2026 announcement written by Weis calls Ohne 2024 the winery's first dealcoholized wine, made from the 2024 Gewürztraminer vintage, at 0.5% ABV, semi-dry and lightly carbonated, and says that bottling was available through the online store, the tasting room, and the patio. Those are two vintage names. Neither page names a removal machine.
