The wine

The mid-palate is where this white earns the glass: clean and fruit-forward, with bright citrus and green apple carrying the sip and a light floral note riding along. Acidity stays bright enough that the fruit does not flatten into juice, and the frame stays light rather than syrupy. That middle stretch — citrus, apple, a little flower — is the pour’s center of gravity, not a long finish or a heavy entry.

Crisp and citric on the exit — short of a long wine finish, but clean. Well chilled. What you get is a California white that keeps aromatic fruit in the middle of the pour, then closes citric without sticky hang. For a budget nonalcoholic white, the mid-palate is the part that holds; the ends are simpler, and that is fine if fruit-forward and clean is what you want in the glass.
