FLVR! Chocolate Dark Brew
83/100
The short takeA clear, sweet chocolate dark brew with light roast for balance. The thin body and short finish limit its depth, but the chocolate is the point, and it delivers it cleanly.

The beer
Chocolate is the whole idea here, and Untitled Art makes sure you know it from the first sip. The aroma is chocolate with only a faint roast behind it, and the palate follows suit: the chocolate arrives up front and stays at the center, clear rather than muddy, and it reads as chocolate rather than as a vague dark-beer impression of it. That clarity is the beer’s real strength.
Sweetness is a deliberate part of the design. This is a fairly sweet brew, closer to a dessert pour than a dry stout, and drinkers who want austerity should look elsewhere. Light roast sits underneath and does useful work, giving the sweetness something to lean against so the sip does not flatten into syrup. The roast never takes over; it is support, not structure.
Where the beer comes up short is weight. The body is thin for a dark brew, and the chocolate has less texture to sit on than its flavor promises. The finish is short as well. It turns bittersweet as the chocolate dries out, which is a pleasant closing note and a welcome counterweight to the sweetness, but it does not stay long. At 83 points, it succeeds as a chocolate beer first and a dark beer second: clear, sweet and enjoyable, with the body and length to grow into.
