Evidence Producer documented
Membrane filtration at Octopi Brewing (contract brewer), per 2021–23 press reporting; Lakefront does not name the technique
Research notes
Lakefront lists 24 IBU and a gravity of 4.6° Plato. Hops: WI Magnum, Mt. Hood, Cascade. These are the producer’s malt and hop specifications, not a complete ingredient declaration. Head brewer Luther Paul discusses dealcoholizing the range in a January 2023 OnMilwaukee interview; E-Corp’s range listing separately states that alcohol is removed. In direct correspondence on 20 October 2026, Lakefront’s Mike Walker confirmed that these beers are fermented first and then have their alcohol removed. This verifies the production classification, not the specific removal technique. The same OnMilwaukee piece says all three Lakefront NA beers are contract brewed and canned at Octopi Brewing in Waunakee, and Octopi’s CEO told Isthmus (2021) and VinePair (2022) that its dealcoholizer is a membrane filtration system.

Where sources disagree
Sources disagree on the following points.
- ABV: Lakefront’s product page and technical sheet declare less than 0.5% ABV. E-Corp’s range page prints greater than 0.5% for this beer. The record retains the producer’s less-than declaration; the distributor’s conflicting inequality remains unresolved.
- Malts: The producer technical sheet lists 30°L Caramel alongside Two-Row Pale, 8°L Caramel and Roasted Barley. The current producer product page instead lists 45°L Caramel in that position. The production note transcribes the supplied sheet; the difference remains unresolved.

- Production
- Direct correspondence from Mike Walker, Lakefront Brewery, 20 October 2026, in the thread supplying all three NA sell sheets: the beer is fermented first, then the alcohol is removed. Product URL is the identity reference; the statement is from retained correspondence, not the webpage. Earlier secondary evidence remains in sources. No specific removal technique was confirmed.
