Research notes

Front-label artwork on the producer packshot reads DOMAINE EdeM, Elena de Mendoza, BRUNETTE, botanical-infused Chardonnay sparkling beverage, non-alcoholic, contains less than 0.5% alc/vol, and 750 ml / 25.4 fl oz. The Winebow sell sheet (opened 2026-10-28) titles it Brunette, non-alcoholic, made from Chardonnay, and sets the process as grapes from mountain vineyards across Mendoza, verjus from the third week of January kept cold through winter, a June botanical infusion at the Catena Institute, then injected bubbles. It prints 0.4% alcohol and says a sparkling under 0.5% is classified as alcohol free. 63 kcal per 100 ml. The current range page groups Brunette under the 0% alcohol row — that is the non-alc set, not a 0.0% residual — and prints VINIFERA GRAPE MUST + VERJUS + BOTANICALS | MADE IN ARGENTINA, 65 kcal per 100 ml, and vermouth-style apéritif. A lifestyle photograph on that page shows a Spanish-language label (chardonnay · botanique / sin alcohol). Producer aroma copy stays here and is not a Dry Standard tasting. Blonde is the other botanical SKU. N.0 ROSÆ is the dealcoholized Spanish Airén. Uco Stones and Uco Mineral are low-alcohol and are outside this record.

Where sources disagree

Sources disagree on the following points.

  • Calories: The Winebow sell sheet prints 63 kcal per 100 ml. The producer range page prints 65 kcal per 100 ml. The April 2025 Wine Industry Advisor launch printed 97 kcal per 148 ml, about 66 kcal per 100 ml. We print the sheet’s 63 and keep the page’s 65 in this note.
  • Serve: The sell sheet and Winebow say a lime slice. The producer range page says a lemon slice. We print lime from the sheet.
